
Using state of the art the art 320 Watt monocrystalline solar panels manufactured in by SolarWorld Americas Inc. in Hillsboro Oregon, the seven kW array on Trinity Presbyterian is projected to produce 8,698 kWh annually for the next twenty years.
Who Financed the Project?
Secure Futures, LLC, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Preshburg Solar LLC, purchased, owns and operates the solar panels on the roof of Trinity Presbyterian Church (TPC). TPC hosts the solar facility and self-generates the electricity produced by the solar system. The church pays a fixed service price to Preshburg Solar LLC under a Solar SGA®. Partners of Secure Futures self-funded the project, with support from a USDA grant.

J Electrical and More LLC installed the seven kW array. Secure Futures LLC is responsible for maintenance and operations.

How Big is the Project?
The nameplate system size is 7.04 kW DC. The system is projected to produce on average 8,698 kWh annually for the next twenty years. In its first year of production, the system offset 14,000 lbs of CO2 in the atmosphere – the equivalent of planting 400 trees.
