Hospitals, schools, governments and businesses are under more pressure than ever to go green. More of your stakeholders are expecting you to go beyond recycling bins and LED lightbulbs to demonstrate your commitment to sustainability.
But with limited resources and staffing, it’s not always easy for organizations and businesses to pile more green initiatives onto their already full plates.
That’s where Secure Futures can help. We allow organizations and businesses to extend their in-house resources by offering sustainability management services on an outsourced basis.
If you’d like to see how we can help you get more done to demonstrate your leadership in sustainability without the expense and hassle and expense of engaging new resources in-house, then contact us to discuss your needs.
Who We Serve
Secure Futures offers outsourced management services to schools, governments, non-profit organizations and industry trade associations. As examples of how we can help, see two of our current client engagements below.
In 2016, Mary Baldwin’s Director of Facilities Management recognized an institutional need to reduce utility costs and gain a better understanding of how the campus uses energy. Upon receiving grant funding to start an energy-monitoring program, Mary Baldwin partnered with Secure Futures to provide an innovative solution to develop the university’s first Sustainability Coordinator position. In its first year, the partnership has helped the school to accomplish key initial goals, including:
- Founding a new Office of Sustainability
- Helping students to form a sustainability club
- Adding a sustainability page to MBU’s website
- Quadrupling the university’s capacity for collecting campus recycling at minimal cost
- Developing an energy monitoring strategy to implement in 2018
